– General contractor for construction of items: Head dam, water tunnel, pressure pipe abutment, factory and discharge channel.
– Construction of 110kV transmission line connecting to the national power grid.
– Installation of electromechanical equipment systems and substations.

Construction of 110kV transmission line connected to the national grid
The most special feature of Xim Vang hydropower project is probably the pressure pipeline. With a total length of nearly 1.2km, the height difference of nearly 500m in the total pressure head of the project is about 600m (belonging to the Top 10 small and medium hydropower projects in Vietnam at the time of implementation). According to the design solution proposed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Son, the pressure pipeline is run on the top of the mountain ranges. With the experience of field engineers, the Company has found a suitable solution for safe construction, ensuring the required quality and progress.

Item of water tunnel is also considered as a difficult part of the project. With a total length of about 4.3km and only 1 auxiliary tunnel, the Company’s engineers and partner units proposed appropriate measures to ensure ventilation, ventilation and other requirements. other technical requirements to bring the work item to the destination on time and safely.

In the last days of 2017, Xim Vang Hydropower Plant officially completed the construction and installation, was accepted for operation and exploitation. Every year, Xim Vang hydroelectricity contributes more than 70 million kWh to the national power grid and creates jobs and incomes for laborers in the project area.
